Congregants who have tested positive for Covid-19 will be required to adhere to the following policy prior to returning to fellowship:
- A minimum of 21 days from the date of the positive test must pass prior to a congregant returning to in-person fellowship. This presumes that the severity of the infection is such that they did not get more severely ill subsequent to their positive test.
- If the symptoms worsened subsequent to the positive test, then a minimum of 14 days from the date the congregant is fever free without the use of fever reducing medication and all symptoms of the infection have been resolved.
This policy is more stringent than the CDC guidelines out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our congregation. It also does not require multiple negative tests prior to return, which given the turn times for test results seemed less practical for our congregants.
The bottom line is for common sense to prevail. If you don’t feel well, please stay home and enjoy our live-stream service or pick it up on the YouTube channel at your convenience.
